Join Chef Tad in welcoming Christophe Hedges of Hedges Family Estate located in the spectacular Red Mountain region of Eastern Washington. Come experience the harmony of fine wine and exquisite cuisine. Enjoy entertaining stories of Chistophe’s parents Tom Hedges and wife Anne Marie Liegeois who started Hedges Family Estate almost 30 years ago. Tom is from Eastern WA, and Anne Marie is from Champagne, France. Their story reads much like a romance novel.
Sustaining their mark in the forefront of the industry, in 2008 they converted their winemaking practices to biodynamic farming. Hedges "considers their collection of wines a collaboration between people and place a true expression of origin and the unified culture of farm and family."
Keeping it in the family, we are equally honored to have Maggie Hedges who started her own biodynamic winery Domaine Magdelena in 2004 sharing in the evening’s festivities. In lieu of taking a honeymoon, Maggie and Christophe put all they had into a piece of property on Red Mountains and planted a vineyard. Their first vintage of Cabernet Sauvignon "is a culmination for 10 years of work and love".
The festivities will commence in our gorgeous barn with Christophe & Maggie pouring a tasting of selections from their wineries. After the tasting, you will be invited over to the Farmhouse to enjoy a farm-centric 4-course meal prepared by our Executive Chef, Tadao Mitsui.
Cost: $75.00 per person includes initial wine tasting upon arrival, 4-course meal & gratuity. All tickets are non refundable however they are transferable. In the event of a cancellation by the guest winemaker or the dinner in general, full purchase price shall be refunded.
Additional: Hedges wines will be available at dinner for purchase by the glass & bottle.
