Yogini, surfer, traveler, blogger, sommelier slinging, decanter filling, lunch-imbibing, ostrich farm-observing, happy and protagonist-motivated poet of sales - Drake started her wine career in NY, where she worked as a sommelier at Jean Georges before moving to Hong Kong to be the opening chef sommelier at Café Gray Deluxe at The Upper House.
Drake returned to the U.S. to work as corporate assistant beverage manager for the Michael Mina Group in San Francisco, but consulting opportunities in Hong Kong were calling, and Drake returned to Asia to pursue them. She worked with corporate clients such as 82 Co., Arcane Restaurant, Meiburg Wine Media, Applied Wine and manage individual cellars for private clients. While in Hong Kong, she met the Hedges Team, unaware of what her future destiny beheld for her.
